Physical Plant and Equipment:

Our physical plant has a complete metal shop (4,800 square feet). We have a warehouse of approximately 25,000 square feet for material storage. We have all necessary roofing equipment including kettles, conveyors, felt layers, boom truck and tear off equipment. Our office staff includes an office manager, secretary, estimator and project manager.

History & Experience:

Greensboro Roofing Company Inc. is a family owned business, started by father and son, Ed and Terry Glidewell. Ed and Terry brought decades of roofing experience and knowledge to the company when it was incorporated in January 1977.

Greensboro Roofing is a strong and stable commercial roofing company with a reputation for quality workmanship. We have the ability to complete any size commercial project. We have installed over 13 million square feet of roof and flashed over 72 miles of walls for hundreds of satisfied customers. We install all types of commercial roofs: Heat Welded Single Ply (TPO & PVC), Rubber Single Ply (EPDM), Built Up (Hot & Cold applied), Modified Bitumen, Architectural Metal, Slate and Concrete Tiles

Giving Back to the Community:

While the construction industry suffered during one of the worst economic times, Terry Glidewell, president of Greensboro Roofing Company, has been able to steer his company out of the woodwork, thanks in large measure to his foresight and business acumen. The company’s operations are supplemented by its physical plant, a roofing department, a warehouse and all the necessary roofing equipment, as well as a dedicated office staff. Outside of his official duties at Greensboro Roofing Company, Terry spends time to be involved with community affairs. He has donated materials and labor to help construct the “Living Garden” at the "Greensboro Children’s Museum". Aside from lending support to the "Special Olympics", he has also been supporting the “MS Champions Dinner" for the past four years.
